Legends of Felheim: The Isle of Lies (Book 1)
Fletcher is a hunter who has always chosen devotion to his god over his own desires. When a hunt promises to pay enough coin to set his family up for life, he must embark on a dangerous journey to the distant island of Sparthos. By his side are his two companions—Rose, the fiery huntress he dares not love, and Onyx, the giant of a man with a strong arm and stronger spirit.
From raging storms, to fearsome monsters, the trio faces deadly trials that test their skill, their wits, and their faith. As Fletcher grapples with the ghosts of his past and the pull of his heart, dark secrets unravel under the facade of the island kingdom. These secrets threaten the safety of not just the hunters, but all of Felheim.

Looking for a fast-paced action packed journey with some of the most lovable but fierce fantasy characters you could think of? Here it is! The Isle of Lies is great fantasy, full of mythological creatures, quests, twists and turns and all of the things one would love from classic myths like Jason and the Argonauts and the Odyssey, the trial of Hercules and more! The MC has a goodness that was incredibly welcome, as often times we want a little more anti-hero than hero, but I loved how his character was always thinking of others, and used his formidable abilities to help those in need, yet did not hesitate to strike when essential. I also loved the friendship and the bonds between the MC and the other two AMAZING characters in the trio. It was playful and fun, full of amazing and humorous banter but also full of heart, some drama and depth. The story moves incredibly quickly…at times almost too quick as you want to linger in some of the locales with a few of the characters, but it is full of adrenaline, has a beautifully satisfying conclusion, while still leaving the world wide open for a lot more! It was well-written and a great fantasy read for anyone who loves the genre and for those that maybe want to dive into quest based fantasy reading. You will love this book! Go now!
