J. R Hunter is a fiction writer born and raised in Alberta, Canada. A mother, wife, and inspiring author who aims to share her creative stories with the world. Hunter began writing after losing her 7 week old son to SIDS. Creating stories and worlds became an outlet for grief, and a way to take her mind away from the pain of reality. With an over thinking imagination, a caffeine addiction, and way too many storylines on the go, Hunter loves creating worlds and scenes in which you can lose yourself as well. She enjoys mixing the thrill of partial reality, with the longing of the unknown, creating characters you either love to hate, or hate to love. Stemming from her own sense of loss, the stories in which she brings to life, offer a way to escape your reality and immerse yourself in someone else’s world.
