AlainaMarie Pfaff is a New York-based writer and educator with a passion for stories that explore memory, identity, and the lasting impact of the people and places that shape us. A lifelong lover of literature and a former student-turned-teacher, she draws inspiration from real-life experiences in the classroom and beyond. Her debut novel, In Case You Didn’t Know, is a heartfelt tribute to the mentors who change us, the friends who carry us, and the schools that feel like home long after we’ve left them.
She is currently working on two upcoming novels. Rowell Manor, which has a preview in the back of In Case You Didn’t Know, is a historical romance. Her newest project is a metaphysical romance titled, In Another Lifetime.
When she’s not writing, Alaina can usually be found grading essays with a cup of tea, rewatching old Jimmy Stewart films, or reading classic novels, particularly Jane Eyre. She believes in the power of words, the strength of chosen family, and the beauty of an ordinary life well-loved.
