Diana Mooney is a Mexican-American author living in Oklahoma. As a moonlighting author, her work is fueled predominantly by hot cheetos with limón and most recently, her new found favorite: chai lattes.

When Diana isn’t forced to join society, she is free to koala by lounging at home with her soulmate while stealing cuddles from her mischievous cat, Beastly. Recently, Beastly has had to share her attention with another feline, as Diana has been known to occasionally get lost in her other favorite pastime, Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

Her debut novel, and first in a duology, SoulMate won the Wolf Media Festival Award for Best Contemporary Fantasy Literary Novel in July 2024.
