Born and raised in Texas, J.A. Watson has grown up on epic fantasy stories such as The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. She wrote her first “novel” when she was in fifth grade and began work on her debut novel, A Race Against Shadows, in eighth grade. Now, five years later, J.A. is an engineering major at a public university, where she hopes to continue writing in between her calculus, physics, and chemistry homework.
