Jaye enjoys writing character-driven stories touching on themes such as faith deconstruction and spiritual rebirth, familial bonds, romantic relationships, mental health, and self-discovery. Her novels and shorter works, mostly in contemporary fiction, are often developed against a backdrop that melds cultural touchstones with creative flourishes.

She is also a member of a local improv troupe, Cincy Sketchprov, and is the creator and host of Potstirrer Podcast. It was while podcasting that she rediscovered her love for creative writing, a passion originating from her childhood. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, she currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, a happily married pet parent.
