Born and raised in British Columbia, Kaila is a dedicated mother raising two wonderful sons. While she earned a diploma in social work, writing has always been her true passion. Finding solace and expression in her words, Kaila has a knack for crafting engaging narratives. She particularly loves writing poems, and ‘romantasy’. Her new series, Mystique, is a testament to her talent and dedication.
After gaining valuable experience working with children in a school setting, Kaila had changed careers only to lose the new job that she loved so much. With ten days notice that she would be unemployed she jumped on the opportunity to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an author. The adversity and triumphs she’s experienced with failed and toxic relationships has motivated and led her to write this story. Inspired by true events, this novel was written while on a remarkable journey of healing and self discovery.
